Dance & Wellness (In-person) Date & Time: Saturday, 1:30-2:30pm Location: 150 Sullivan Ave, South Windsor, CT 06074 Fee for this ongoing class: $20 Drop in, $175 10 Classcard “Movement is the song of the body.” Vanda Scaravelli once said. When we dance, we give our body an opportunity to sing its favorite melody, to connect our joyful hearts and moving our Qi. Movement is the most ancient medicine that was well known for harmonizing the body, mind and spirit. Dance gives a voice, venue and courage to allow our spirit to soar in life when the body and emotion stuck in the reality. The class is emphasized on the wholeness of our physical, emotional and spiritual being. Lorelei mindfully designed the class with a variety of dance languages that embraces the intelligence of all movement vocabulary. Her intention for this class is to support dance community with an open heart, awakening our physical and mental flexibilities to face the chaotic world, nourishing nervous system, strengthen our emotional beings. We will be diving into the world of our body and soul with authentic movement and somatic approach, moving our physical body and emotional energy honestly and beautifully. 2. Dance For Healing-Reconnect, Release, and Renew Through Movement Date & Time: TBA Location: The Hartford Dance Collective, 1800 Park St, Hartford, CT 06106 Fee: $29 Join us for a transformative journey where movement becomes medicine. This workshop invites participants of all backgrounds to explore the healing power of dance in a safe, supportive, and heart-centered space. Through guided movement, free-form expression, breathwork, and gentle somatic practices, we will release stuck energy, reduce stress, and awaken a deeper connection to self and body. No dance experience is needed—just a willingness to move, feel, and heal.
