Let's Taiji Dance

This is an ongoing weekly zoom class that will be taught on every Friday runs 10 sessions for a period. This session is held from March 1st to May 3rd, at 11am-11:45am ET “Movement is the song of the body.” Vanda Scaravelli once said. When we move, we give our body an opportunity to sing it’s favorite melody, to connect with the most joyful part of our hearts. Our movements create the most beautiful melody of our soul. We tap into the world of our being and communicate with ourselves authentically and honestly.

Qi Pharmacy I & II

According to Chinese medicine, most diseases are caused by blockage of energy flow in the body due to insufficient qi and blood. In result, the diseases are formed by accumulated toxic over the years that are not flushed out of the body. As "Shang Shu" said: "Water and fire are what we drink and use everyday." Water and fire have their own characteristics. Water is calm, cold in nature, and moisturizing. Water in Chinese medicine, the main character is Cang, means "store" and "hidden". Fire, on the other hand, is active, warm in nature, and the characteristic is Fa, means develop, expand and spread.

This particular Qigong form was created by Professor Zhang Guangde of Beijing Sport University. it is created and compiled under the guidance of the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine, syndrome differentiation and treatment, the theory of viscera and meridians, and related theories of modern medicine.
