Introduction to Zhineng Qigong Level III Wu Yuan Zhuang (24 Classes)
Five Hunyuan Form, Wu Yuan Zhuang was compiled and created in 1980-1981, at the same time as “Peng Qi Guan Ding, or Lift Qi Up, Pour Qi Down method" and “Xing Shen Zhuang, or Body Mind Form” by Dr. Pang Ming. It was originally 15 styles. There are a lot of martial arts content (basically evolved from Yi Jin Jing, Emei Zhuang method, Hunyuan Gong and others). Its qi changes are strong, but later on in 1985-1986, were revised and modified to 13 movements. It was much easier to adapt physically. Lorelei took a extended time to design this course. She has much respect to the creator of Zhineng Qigong, Dr. Pang Ming’s idea of when to introduce Wu Yuan Zhuang. At the same time, she is also fully aware her long time students’ desires to elevate their levels of Zhineng Qigong practice and studies. Dr. Pang has emphasized on the importance of having a solid foundation with level I (Peng Qi Guan Ding, Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down) and II (Xing Shen Zhuang, Body Mind Form) practices before studying Level III (Five Hun Yuan Form). Qigong students in China usually practice for many years before studying level III because of how demanding it is in all aspects. Without a good foundation, one often has a difficult time to adapt the form and may have a hard time dealing with the Qi effects. With this fact in mind, Lorelei has decided to gradually introduce the Wu Yuan Zhuang, while continuing to support students practicing level I & II, to safely move to a deep Zhineng Qigong studies. Those who are interested in signing up for this course, but have never done level I and II, are required to have some private lessons with Lorelei or complete self-paced video courses.
